Eastern Spadefoot

An eastern spadefoot (Scaphiopus holbrookii) among common powderhorn lichen (Cladonia coniocraea), pincushion moss (eucobryum glaucum), & dried sand live oak (Quercus geminata) leaves. These species all co-occur in the upland sandy scrub of Florida.​
